My journey. In the darkness of my parents garage, a boy was playing with film, developing compounds, and light sensitive paper, producing black and white images taken with his manual film camera. It was the 1970s.
This was the beginning of my journey with this art form, a journey that lead me to today. This is where it all began.
For many years, cameras and photos where just a hobby, a way to record your holiday, your memories for your family and friends. We didn’t have social media then, it was film, slideshows, and prints.
Fast forward to 2015, social media was here, there were influencers, you could have followers, a channel, and upload your opinions and hobbies for everyone to see. I had to be apart of this new wave of technology! But how, I knew nothing about making a video, this was a whole new genre! So I used the YouTube university to teach myself, how do you film yourself, talk to a camera, and upload content.
As the years past, the camera become more important than the content, as the passion for the camera technology returned! Video was a bug I had acquired, and I just couldn’t feed my desire enough! Constantly learning more about these modern digital cameras! In my pursuit for being a better content creator, I stumbled onto wedding films. And fell in love with this film style! I was hooked, this was a defining moment for my new career!!
